Joshua Z. Warren, M.D.
Josh brings over a decade of healthcare experience gained from a diverse set of contexts as a physician, entrepreneur, investor, and consultant. He is passionate about helping patients by building great healthcare companies.

Prior to founding Apex Growth Capital, Josh was a Vice President at Thomas H. Lee Partners, and at Brooke Private Equity Associates prior to that. In these roles, Josh focused on building investment theses, sourcing and executing healthcare deals, and managing portfolio companies. Before moving to private equity, Josh was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting group, where he focused on supporting Fortune 500 healthcare companies, government agencies, and private equity clients solve strategic problems and evaluate M&A opportunities.

Josh received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in both Biology and Economics. He received his M.D. from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, and he received his M.B.A. at The Wharton School, where he dual-majored in Health Care Management and Finance.

Josh has published and presented first author research at multiple international conferences, and he maintains an active medical license.
